Luckily I assassinated the family member leading the army just outside Durazzo. Viewed: 108 times. One of my strongest clerics. I'll need him to stave off some of the heretics roaming northern Italy. On the way I peppered one of his Dismounted Norman Knight units to depletion with my horse archers. My makeshift infantry line is holding as my archers had reduced one of the two remaining dismounted knight units. I then flanked the remaing unit and his Prince with my superior cavalry numbers. Viewed: 111 times. Captured the Sicilian Prince! Viewed: 108 times. It said clear victory but it was closer than it seemed. I had to throw my archers into melee to hold them. Viewed: 99 times. Sadly Sicily refuse to pay the ransom and I execute the Prince. Viewed: 102 times. Clicked end turn and the now general-less Papal States army at Durazzo lay siege. Viewed: 111 times. Finances aren't brilliant at the start of turn 59. Viewed: 116 times. May as well take out this Sicilian Princess. Viewed: 107 times. I do love the OTT screaming when you assassinate a Princess. Viewed: 110 times. Looks like I'm not going to be able to relieve Durazzo in this turn. Viewed: 107 times. Oh look at this. An amphibious invasion has just landed at Trebizond and my spy is already installed, allowing me to attack in the same turn! Viewed: 118 times. A pretty comprehensive victory even with the weak-ish army at my disposal. Viewed: 128 times. May as well get experience for my spies. Viewed: 130 times. Chancing my arm a little here to see if I can increase his piety.
